Nipple is a part for permanent or temporary connection of adjacent sections of the pipeline. This is a piece of pipe, on one or both ends of which an external thread is applied. By design , the nipple can be: 

threaded. At the same time, each of its threaded ends is screwed into the end section of the pipeline having an internal thread. The thread can be right- and left-sided; 

welded. The end of its end, devoid of thread, is welded to the end of the connected section; 

transitional. It is used to connect sections of pipeline with different diameters;

hexagon. Equipped with a turnkey head. When installing it with a key, an additional force is created, which increases the impenetrability of the connection. 

The nipple connection is reliable, with high tightness. This unit is easily disassembled and assembled, which is important, in particular, when servicing pipelines in the food and pharmaceutical industries.
